The following positions will be introduced in 2017
Vote 1: Half-Back
That the Half-back position is introduced commencing PSD 2017 season whose score is calculated as follows:
R50 x 3 + I50 x 1 – FA x 2
[R50 = Rebounds from defensive 50. I50 = Disposals into the attacking 50)
Vote 2: Half-Forward
That the Half-forward position is introduced commencing PSD 2017 season who score is calculated
I50 x 3 + Goals x 2 + Marks x 1 – FA x 2
Vote 3: Extractor
That one of the current midfielders is converted into a specialised clearing midfielder (named the Extractor) commencing PSD 2017 whose score is calculated as follows:
Disposals/2 + Cl x 3 – FA x 2
[Cl = Clearances]
