The deadline for selections for the Free Drafting Period is 9am AWST Wednesday 16th March.
Changes to selections are freely allowed up until this deadline.
This earlier deadline has been decided as:
- It is midday EDT which allows coaches to react to any AFL news that morning
- It is 9pm New York time so the NY coaches get equal access to this information and are not disadvantaged by having the previous later deadline (of when 1st game started).
This is an administrative ruling made by Logistix after consult with 2 members of the RGC.
The HFFL Rules have been updated to reflect this.
