New allowed retentions:
– 1 x elite
– 1 x 11-20
– 1 x 21-30
– 5 x Sub-30’s (of which 2 are mandatory retentions)
– 1 x rookie (who can be any ranking)
Compensation Picks:
If you choose not to retain a player, you receive the following compensation pick depending on the player:
– Elite not retained: a pick after Round 1
– 11-20 not retained: a pick after Round 6
– 21-30: not retained: a pick after Round 7
– 1st sub 30 not retained: a pick after Round 11
– 2nd sub 30 not retained: a pick after Round 10
– 3rd sub 30 not retained: a pick after Round 9
– Rookie not retained: a pick after Round 13
Note that the Compo picks awarded for sub-30 and rookie retentions have been elevated by 2 rounds compared to the original vote. This is because I had not accounted for the shortening of the draft created by the 2 mandatory picks.
