6 standard players with the following restrictions:
1. Only 1 can be elite
2. A maximum of 3 top 20 players (including the Elite)
A 7th player can be retained as a Rookie
- This player must have played 22 career games or less
- This player may be Elite or Non-Elite
So the best combination of players you can usually retain is:
- 1. Elite
- 2. 2x 11-20 players
- 3. 3 x Sub-20 player
- 4. 1 x Rookie
